Margaret J. (Taylor) Stough

Margaret J. Stough, 98, of Irwin died Friday February 27,2026 at Hempfield Manor. She was born March 8,1927 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Philip and Mildred (Eddy) Taylor. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Stough, sister Barbara Taylor Evans, brothers Donald and John Taylor and a grandson Abraham. Margaret was a former member of the First Baptist Church, Jeannette as well as a member of the Brush Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church and she enjoyed singing in the choir at both. Surviving are her children Robert Stough (Diane) of Derry, David Stough (Julie) of Ellwood City, Barbara Sarma (Ted) of London, Ontario and Janice Ruoff of Irwin. Grandchildren Vera, Jason, Benjamin, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Justin, Michelle and Gretchen; great grandchildren Daniel, Hazel, Samantha, Ruben and Hannah as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Margaret's greatest love was her family and her many dogs. A memorial service will be celebrated on May 1,2026 at 11:00AM in the Brush Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, 177 Brush Creek Rd, Irwin. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church.
